Measures That Require Urgent Attention:

Maryland-HJ2 This measure was due for a committee hearing on Mar. 3, at 1:00 pm!!!
Maryland-SJ2 This measure has already passed its house of origin. This measure was scheduled for a hearing, before the Education, Health, and Environmental Affairs committee, on Feb. 9. And -- GOOD NEWS -- that committee is reporting it FAVORABLY, on 2/27!! It hit the Senate floor, Wed., March 1st, and on Mar. 6th got its Third Reading and vote -- AND IT PASSED!! WOO HOO!!! Next, it is due for a hearing Thursday, Mar. 30, at 2:30 PM!! Let's contact all the members of the House Rules and Executive Nominations Committee (see current-committee link)!!
Nevada-SJR10 This one was due for a hearing MONDAY, Mar. 27th, at 3:30 pm -- and it will be in a "work session" of the committee on Wednesday, Mar. 29, at 3:30 PM!! However, the legislators have asked NOT to receive emails from out of state -- INSTEAD, register a "YES" vote on the legislative survey at https://www.leg.state.nv.us/App/Opinions/79th2017/A/ !!!
New Hampshire-HCR3 This measure is through with committees in its house of origin, and a floor vote is imminent. This resolution had a public hearing on Thurs., Jan. 19; then, for an executive session on Wed., Jan. 25. On Jan. 30 that committee issued a majority report of "inexpedient to legislate", and a minority report of "ought to pass".
New Mexico-HJR10 This measure has already passed its house of origin. Great News!! This one passed the House, on Feb. 15!! And though there was an attempt to weaken it by amendment, that attempt failed!! It passed the Senate Rules Committee on Mar. 13, and -- YAHOO!!! -- it passed the Senate, on Mar. 15th!! All past New Mexico con-con calls have been rescinded!!!!
South Dakota-HB1193 This one had a hearing Mon., Feb. 6, before the House State Affairs committee; unfortunately, they "tabled" it -- which in S.D. means it is dead unless the full body orders the committee to send the bill to the floor.
Texas-SJR38 This measure has already passed its house of origin. This one had a hearing on Thurs., Feb. 16, before the Senate Committee on State Affairs! That committee voted, on Feb. 21, to report "favorably" on the measure! And -- GREAT NEWS!!!! It passed the Senate, as amended!!! (Amended version at http://www.capitol.state.tx.us/tlodocs/85R/billtext/html/SJ00038E.htm) On to the House!! CONTACT YOUR REPRESENTATIVE!!! (Please note, this one rescinds all previous Texas con-con applications EXCEPT for the BBA application in 1977, HCR31.)
Vermont-JRS017 This one appears to be rescinding 2014's JRS027, a campaign finance reform con-con call (https://vtdigger.org/2014/05/02/vermont-first-state-call-constitutional-convention-get-money-politics/). It was scheduled for a hearing March 21 (Tues.), to come up at 1:45 PM, in Room 4!! And then, for a hearing Mar. 28th!! Let's SUPPORT this with all the committee members!!!
